I am sitting here picking the pictures for our wedding album to pass along to our photographer.  Please tell me I am not the only one not yet done with this!

We got our photo CD's in September, I forced DH to sit down and go through them with me Thanksgiving weekend (and my parents that same weekend), but for some reason, I have yet to email the list to our photographer to get our book done.  So no, you're not the only one!

Ellen, we had this issue too.  I emailed our photographer and he extended the time that our pictures were available online.  Maybe you could get yours extended?

No, I haven't started mine yet either.  It is my goal for summer break!! I have to design it online, pick the pics, and cover, pick layouts, etc.

We have our meeting with the photographer tomorrow to put the album together.  It's a nightmare!

I picked mine out right around Thanksgiving.  I had made a list of pictures I wanted to print and started with that.  I gave the list to my photographer who then passed it on to the designer.  She put it together for me in a logical order.  It honestly was something I stressed out about before hand.  But once I saw the online "proof", my fears were gone. It told the story of our wedding day perfectly. 

My photographer and I talked beforehand about what style & size i wanted.  I also decided that I wanted some b&w pics and words sprinkled throughout.

In the end, I am completely happy with my book.  Best of luck!

My experience was very similar to SLAHSarah's, except that I submitted my list of pictures I wanted included on Oct. 1st. The designer just emailed me this week to give me the link to the online proof! Now I'm just waiting for the actual album to be printed!

I had set the goal of finishing that up by our honeymoon, so for once we actually did something on time!  We sent it in in mid-September.  I think we received our proofs a week later while we were on our honeymoon, made the changes, and a week after that the book was ordered.  I seem to remember we got it towards the end of October.  I love it so much!!!!

The photographer already extended it once.  I have only looked at them once since the week before my dad passed away.  Our photographer is old fashioned, but he is pretty cool about things. He was on vacation that week (with my MOH in-laws).. and had his son find all the pictures with my dad and printed them/blew them up for us (and made it back in time for the wake, too).  

We'll have to pick out pictures, soon! Maybe as soon as we get back from our belated honeymoon!

No, H and I pretty much finished picking photos about a month and a half ago but I just contacted our photographer this week for an appointment with her for it. So we're going Wednesday...oops. lol

We got our album shortly before Christmas so I was finally able to check that off the list.  However, we still haven't picked out our big prints that we get with the package.

We are partway through the process. We picked the proofs for the album and submitted them to the photographer in September, but they have yet to send us the album proofs - I just sent them an email about it. We have only recived our large prints (8x10) and are now waiting on our albums, the parent albums and the video.....

Our package didn't come with an album, which was my choice.  I prefer the feel of actual prints, so I chose the long road, and got prints made of all of my favorite photos and am making an album myself.  It's going to take a while, but it will certainly be a labor of love!  This way, too, I can include engagement photos, my shower, bachelorette party, and rehearsal dinner to complete the story.  I'll also add in the wedding invite, program, and other "scraps" and mementos from the day.

This is a great idea!  I may do something similar on a smaller scale to include all of those things.  In the fall, I made a honeymoon album on shutterfly and we love it.  It would be fun to make another album and use more of our pictures than just having them on the computer!
