so I usually post on the bump because I'm pregnant, but I decided to check out the nest and the knot because I'm engaged and living with my fiance, so hello

romance with the lover has become sorta a background thing since I'm seven months pregnant and all. And it's getting frustrating!!! I like sex and romantic things like massages and bubble baths with him. he doesnt always make a huge effort with that though. which is fine, but I want to do something nice for him. 

since valentines day is coming up, I figured I would take advantage of it as my special time I plan for him. I want to do something nice like make dinner, but I want romantic food ideas. And since he's a fire fighter and a body builder, he doesnt eat fatty things, so dessert ideas that are semi healthy would be helpful lol. and also, anyone who has any intimate time ideas for someone my size, please share. I never had an orgasm until I got pregnant lol, I'd like to do something fun and surprising for him in the bedroom

I know I could think of these things on my own, but its nice to have input from others thanks!!

Ditto on the taking care of you and your pregnancy and not your fiance. If you are now at risk for pre-term labor you should be taking it easy. Your fiance who isn't that into doing for you should be doing everything he can for you. You should also wonder why you are OK with him not wanting to.If you did lose your mucous plug sex may be out of the question anyway. YOu need to discuss your pregnancy and complications further with a doctor. If the one you saw is not willing to take the time, see if there is  someone else in the practice who will. I had a preemie through no fault of my own and it is a very difficult experience. Please take care of your self and your baby and worry about doing a special Valentine's Day next year. Maybe your Fiance will try to do more if you don't.

If at 29 weeks you're seriously losing your plug, any doctor worth anything would be telling you to avoid sex and orgasms, and would probably be urging bedrest. But hey, your baby isn't nearly as important as giving your babydaddy some lovin!

Ok..so I have no idea what a mucus plug is but eww..lol. As long as baby is fine I don't see it a problem with still wanting to please your man.  Besides isn't your sex drive in overdrive when you're this far along?  I have no idea..Anyway, back to my response.  As far as sexy food goes, we have a fondue pot we like to use.  It's easiest to do cheese or chocolate, however both can be prepared low in fat.  You can also use things for dipping like veggies and fruits besides the typical pound cake.  As long as you create a romantic ambience any mean would be romantic as long as you're not eating with your fingers (i.e. Fried Chicken).  Clothing wise you should check out babiesnbellies.com.  Maybe it could give you some ideas.

That's the thing Amanda - if she's losing her plug and the baby has stopped moving at 29 weeks, the baby is not fine and it's absurd that she is more worried about sexing up her babydaddy than calling her doctor (as her other post implies).

By the post I assumed that the baby was fine..since she didn't say anything about it being a high risk prego.  Maybe I shouldn't have assumed that. By all means baby comes first, mom's health second.  But if the pregnancy is fine love making should be completely fine.
