I love the HOS but the only way we could afford it is to have our wedding on a friday, which I'm not too happy about. I have seen pics of the Canfield Casino and loved it but someone in a previous post told me that Canfield ended up costing as much as HOS. I would love to talk more with you! hahha

Butting in with my two cents...  I had my reception at the Canfield in 2008 and it was $2500 to rent out.  Didn't matter Friday or Saturday.  The good thing about Canfield is that you can use the caterer of your choice and save some money that way.  I used Classe Catering and they were great.  All together it did not cost as much as the HOS minimum.

Thanks for the info Loreen! Would you be able to tell me how your coordinated everything together. Does Classe catering provide the table linens, plates, silverware, glassware, etc, or do you have to go through another company to get those items?

I think I said this in my original response to you, but after falling in love with the Casino, I was SURE it was going to be more expensive than the "all-inclusive" places, but it wasn't.  Obviously, I was married in 2008, so things could be drastically different now.

Classe was amazing.  They handled absolutely everything and the food and presentation were top notch.  The only "extra" I paid for were chivari chairs, which weren't at all necessary, but I loved them.

I emailed you my budget and also the proposal I received from Classe.  Let me know if you have any other questions.
