I don't know what to call the Monday post.
How did everyone do this weekend? What are your goals for the week?
I'm doing WW. But I did splurge a bit over the weekend with alcohol and junk food. But I only went a little over my flex points. I went for a long run with SIL on Saturday since the weather was nice.
My goal this week is to do some form of exercise every other day this week for an hour.
Fun question for the day. What is everyone's ultimate fitness goal?
I want to lose enough weight so I can stop wearing spanx under my dresses and to run a half marathon in October.
Re: Monday fitness check-in
I'm going to jump on this train...I hadn't previously responded to the other posts you ladies posted. I am not necessarily trying to lose weight, yes I'd say I'd like to lose 5 - 8 pounds since I've gained 12 since the wedding but before that I was pretty obsessed with working out (cardio) and what foods I would / wouldn't eat that my 12 pound weight gain was healthy for me from where I was at before. I was at a pretty low weight before I was engaged, gained about 6 healthy pounds up to until the wedding and got better.
I used to do 4 days of cardio / 2 days pilates a week. This week I'm starting 3 days cardio / 3 days pilates as my ultimate fitness goal is to build more core strength and muscle. I also am hoping to run a 10 miler at the end of May.
Ooops. Dup.
This week was going pretty well until yesterday. I went to lunch with DH and ordered something new. I only ate half, thinking I was satisfied and saving points for dinner. Yea, after looking up the nutritional info when I get home - I was depressed. I need to get stocked up on fruits and veggies to start fresh with my new week! I'm also working in more exercise this week - even if it is Just Dance or walking the dogs.
My ultimate fitness goal is honestly to lose about 80 lbs. This truly is OFB for me...ugh. I feel like I can totally do it though!
I am planning on working out Monday-Thursday to start out with and overall eating better. Got my fat a$$ up early this morning and did the P90X. My shorterm goal is to look better in a swimsuit, next month! AW!
And since I'm gonna be the MOH in my sisters wedding, to be back to how I was for my own wedding. All of her friends are very small, so I'm gonna look like a whale next to them =( I need to work on my beer gut, my job is not helping with that at all
You're doing P90X. That's great! I ordered it, but it's too overwhelming for me right now. What disc did you do today? I was planning on doing the plyometrics one today since I hate the chest and back workout.
I started Week 6 Day 1 of C25k yesterday. It was freaking cold and I finally warmed up about a mile into it.
My ultimate goal is to just be healthy overall. I've let myself get consumed by stress over the past year.
Things are going okay here. Lost 2.5 lbs so I'm down 8 so far. Yay.
I went to the gym 6 times last week. My goal is to go 5-6 times this week, and also increase 1-2 of the workouts by 15 minutes. I'm starting Week 5, Day 1 of C25K tomorrow.
Goal: Lose 50 lbs, finish C25K, be active, and live a healthy life style.
