The past several years we've gone to the beach for the weekend as our gift to each other instead of doing all the cards, chocolates, and flowers since they're outrageously expensive then. But this year, money is a little tighter and I think we should just stay home. So I need some creative help...what are some cute ideas for low-key night in or a night out if it's low-cost??? TIA ladies!
Re: V-Day
You could bring the beach to you by making a seafood meal and adding some cute adornments to the table (like going to the craftstore and buying a jar of sand and some seashells for a center piece).
Money is really tight for us as well, so we'll probably eat dinner at home, watch a romantic movie, and just be calm with each other.
ETA. If you do the beach at home you can also force him to dress up in beach attire, drink frozen mixed drinks, and play beach themed music.
