Now is your chance...confess, vent, just let it out!
Re: Tuesday confessions
I would really like a snow day as well. We've been taunted a couple of times, but there's been no follow through..haha. We're only supposed to get an inch tonight, so I'm pretty sure we'll only have a delay...sigh.
On another note, I'm also supremely bummed that I have to miss some family events this year because of being a teacher. I know that I have 10 weeks in the summer off (planning/destressing time), but 3 personal days a year is really tough. One of my cousin's weddings also happens to be during state testing and although we're invited to the rehearsal dinner, I can't go because of testing. Oh, and every single event happens to be somewhere on the west coast. I need some teleportation slippers...stat! :-)
Our dog has a UTI again and I know that the only way to truely stop them is for her to have a surgery that will cost close to $1000. She has had more vet bills than any other dog that I know.
We are going to hopefully buy a house this spring and I'm nervous about the process!
We are getting a ton of snow right now and I freaking hate winter!
My supervisor for student teaching is a wimp because he wouldn't come evaluate me today because of the snow. He lives 15 minutes away. The roads were practically clear.
The confession part is that I told my students he was a wimp. They were all ready to be on their best behavior too! Blah.
my read shelf:
As a former NOVA teacher, I am shocked that they haven't called off yet for any of the threatened snow. They freaked out my first year down here and called off 3 or 4 times for nothing.
If you don't mind me asking, what district do you teach for? I was in PWCS...I still coach/instruct there....
I so needed this...thought about starting one myself...
I was hoping for a snow day to work on work stuff all day because I can't get the stuff done during the regular work day and the hours I spend working after school. I have a report I need to get done and having 3-4 hours to work on it would have been great. I feel bad it is not done yet. There is not a time committment on this thing but I need it finished!!
I am stressed about work!! Last week I worked until 6:45 every night except one when I had to be somewhere at 6:15 and 7:30. I called the psychologist on Friday night about something and she was at her second job. She is at her second job and there is not enough time for me to get everything finished at my first job. I need to let some things go and know I am giving my all and that is all I can do! How long until summer?
We are moving to our new house at the end of the month. I have nothing packed or cleaned out. I just got the Christmas tree down tonight and do not have one thank you note written for Christmas presents.
I am not sleeping that well and have too much going on.
My kitchen was a mess when I got home courtesy of DH who got a snow day today. I put the dishes I used in the dishwasher but left the kitchen a mess and left the mess he made out. He did put some dishes in the dishwasher later. I can't deal with that and work right now.
One more vent...as I posted on other threads a few weeks ago, my number of knot posts decreased by over 100 and theknot doesn't know what happened. I will be a newbie forever!
