Well since the massacre in Tucson over the weekend, we've decided to hold off on visiting there until later, esp since the Pres is supposed to be coming in tom. So where's a good place to visit & spend like 2 days, while not spending a lot of money around here?? Where would you ladies choose for a short 2-3 day trip?
Re: road trip suggestions?!?
We are actually going up to Williams/Flagstaff next month to see the Grand Canyon. They are having a special now for a train ride to the Grand Canyon and a hotel stay for 1 night for two people for $273.00, so we are doing that. Then spending a day or two in Flagstaff.
If that is too far maybe Sedona and Jerome on the way to Sedona. We did that like 4 years ago and loved it.

Thanks ladies, but all your suggestions sound so cold & snowy to me! haha We've been to the Canyon twice & will prob. go again when some relatives come in March & we were to Sedona & Flagstaff, but never any of the other places. I'll have to check them out. Are they just pretty much places you'd do outdoorsy stuff, or are there other things to do?
I thought about driving up to the 4 corners part to see that, but it doesn't look like there's anything else to do up there. One website said it's pretty remote up there. Have any of u been?
It was great! We took my mom because she's never been on a train and always has wanted to ride on one. Her and I both enjoyed it a lot. They have a few kind of corny type things... actors robbing the train and such, but even that was kind of neat. Also they had some musicians come through the cars singing and playing guitar. They give you enough time to see the canyon and go quite a ways really before the return trip.
The hotel rooms weren't much, but the outside of the hotel is really gorgeous. The buffet breakfast food at the train stop is horrible, I don't rec it at all. LOL
Thanks Syndelin! I cant wait to go on it
Also, if you dont like to do outdoor stuff, maybe Vegas?

Would you want two tickets to the Kartchner Caverns?
I got them for Casey for our one year anni, but we never got around to using them. I think they expire in May. We're not going to get there before the babe comes, and I know we won't be up for hiking directly after she comes either.
Can't wait to meet my baby boy!
