I know you have posted this before, but I can't remember. What type of camera do you have/use? I did a lot of photography in high school when I had access to a dark room and then I had a Canon Rebel G 35mm. I loved the pictures from that camera, but after getting married we got just a regular Sony digital. With baby on the way, we're looking at getting a new SLR. I am pretty partial to Canon, but last night after reading reviews and checking some in stores, I really like the new Nikon D90. The Canon we looked at is the 40D, and I know the 50D is coming out...but I think it is REALLY out of our price range. Do you have a preference over Nikon or Canon, or do you know anything about these two cameras to help make a decision?
TIA!

Hey there! Sorry to butt in here...
DH and I both shoot with Nikons and we adore our cameras....I shoot with a Nikon D50 and DH has a Nikon D200...and will be upgrading to either the Nikon D700 or Nikon D3 soon. I've heard great things about the D90...IMO, you can't go wrong with Nikon SLRs....they are great and really produce exceptional photos.
I'm also a Nikon girl. Nikons and Canons are both great cameras and you'll always get the debate over them whether it is how Nikon has better color or Canon handles noise better....
I have also heard great things about the D90!!
