Snow / Ice day again. . .

for a ton of counties. . .Durham just canceled for tomorrow. I'm thinking Wake will follow shortly, but I could be wrong.

 

My first class has already been canceled and my professor for the second class could be stuck in an airport right now. Tomorrow could be interesting.

 

When you were a kid, what was your favorite thing to do on a snowday / iceday? Do you still do the same thing now?

So far they haven't, but it seems like everyone around has. We live right on the border of Harnett county and they closed. I'm fine with a 2 hour delay too, but we live on 'back roads' so hopefully by 9 am, they'll be okay )

Blah - I'm so sick of this weather. I went to work around lunch today after de-icing and shoveling my driveway.  Hopefully tomorrow won?t be too bad and things can get moving again.  A lot of the ice had melted in our neighborhood by the time I made it back home.

I'm hoping for another snow/ice day.  I wish that only meant that I didn't have to work.  Today we were just working from home all day (and all night- I'm still working).  I could use a true snow day where I can just relax and not have to be attached to my computer.

Lol I'm voting to use today's snowish day from State (they started at 12) for tomorrow, since I didn't have classes today. Thus, I find it unfair )

Durham jumped the gun and cancelled school today at like 7 last night.  They specified staff AND students which makes us think someone must have tried to go in yesterday and wrecked.  Snow days are always workdays for teacher so this is new.  I'm hoping we don't have to make it up on Saturday.  They'll probably take it out of our spring break and I had plans to visit my sister then.
