Hallmark tour

Hi! My trip to KC is coming up.  I would like to tour Hallmark. Is that possible?  How much does it costs? Do we need a reservation for a certain time?

I am so bummed.  I just looked at their website and they are closed in January!  I will have to get my DH to take me back another time.  Now, I need ideas of fun things to do.  I know some of you posted on my previous question, but any other ideas?

What sort of things are you looking for?

The art museum is worth a stop, and if you want to go shopping, the Plaza has terrific shopping (I like to go into Tiffany just to see all of the sparkly things).

We will be shopping on the Plaza a little.  I was looking for a museum or just something fun to that wasn't shopping.

A few cheap or free things to do in KC:

Nelson-Atkins Museum

Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art (very good restaurant inside)

Negro Leagues Baseball Museum

Steamboat Arabia (very cool!!)

Jardines just off the plaza ($5 cab) has live music on weekend nights

I highly recommend the Boulevard Brewery tour.  You have to make reservations online in advance, but it's free and you get free beer!

Thanks everyone for the suggestions!  Our weekend in KC was awesome!  We went to Crown Plaza (had been there in high school when I attended a convention) and wanted to go back and see what it was like now.  We also went to the Arabia Steamboat museum.  We stayed at The Rapheal in a room with a beautiful view of the Plaza lights.  We also took a carriage ride at the Plaza.  We ate a great dinner at Chaz!!! It was wonderful.  We want to go back and see the WWI museum, see a baseball game at Kaufmann (during the season,) and go to the Hallmark visitor's center!  We have already made a list!!!
