My DH wants software that can design a home.  I guess a blue print?  I have looked them up on the internet and there are a few to choose from;  I was just wondering if anyone has used or tried any of this software, and did you like it?

How exact does he want the software to be?  Could you use something like The Sims?

I'm guessing he would want it as exact as it could be but still reasonably priced.  Are you talking about the game?  If so, we don't have any of that, but that would be a good idea if we did.

Just so you're aware, most software will let you play around with room, furniture, fixture layout, etc. but they aren't going to produce any real blueprints. No matter what you do at home, you'll have to get real blueprints produced, sealed, and approved by a licensed architect and whatever else your state/city may require.
