Laser Hair Removal

Hi everyone! Just wondering if anyone has tried laser hair removal? Did you get good results and would you recommend it? Where did you go, and how would you rate it?

I went to American Laser Center in Naperville and Hoffman Estates (they have multiple locations).  I am getting (well it's on hold with being pregnant) my armpits done.  TMI but I am one hairy beast on my underarms.  I started going waaaay back in like April 2008.  You basically pay for a year's worth of treatments and then get a "2 year warranty".  So pretty much you're getting 3 years worth of treatments and go every 6 weeks.  I have only seen maybe a 30% hair reduction under my arms (went from April 2008 to August 2010) and I am NOT a happy camper.  They keep telling me maybe it's because the machines aren't turned up high enough but every time I go in, I have them crank it to the max.  BUT I do have two other friends that started the same time I did and they did their legs, bikini line and under arms and have absolutely NO hair left whatsoever SO I think it really depends on the person.  It's expensive, but if it works for you, it's well worth it.

i love laser hair removal and have gotten excellent results. i go to spalala. i highly recommend them!

I am also going to American Laser. I started with just bikini area and now I am doing the whole body. I've been going for over a year for the bikini and i have huge bold spots but is far from gone. It's been a big mess because they are a big company so they wont take chances with client's irresponsible choices. That's way as soon as summer arrives and I get tanned just while driving, they stop my sessions. That is making it take so much longer. I can't wait for the real results.
