Looking for a few green products

Dishwasher soap?

Face lotion?

Shampoo and conditioner?

Dishwasher soap?  I use 7th Generation.  It works ok if you put vinegar in the rinse aid compartment to help keep film from being left on the dishes.

Face lotion?  I don't have any recs.  I use the oil cleansing method, so I don't use lotion.

Shampoo and conditioner?  I've used GudonyaToo from Etsy, Avalon Organics and Burt's Bees.  So far my favorite is BB.  The Avalon made my hair feel like straw.  The Gudonya worked well, but it wasn't as convenient since I kept forgetting to reorder and account for shipping time.

  • Dishwasher soap?  We use Ecover tablets.  It seems like not every dishwasher detergent works for everyone so you might have to experiment.

    Face lotion?  Keys Luminous

Shampoo and conditioner?  baking soda wash/ apple cider vinegar rinse (both mixed with water)

I tried baking soda with an apple cider vinegar rinse a few months ago. I made it 3 weeks. DH said I looked greasy and had dandruff really bad.

I'm sad it didn't work. I would love to try again, but am scared. I don't wanna be greasy!! Any tips? Should I use an organic shampoo every couple days?

Greasy hair and dandruff isn't a good look, that's for sure!  Did you try using different ratios of baking soca/ACV to water?   You could always try using regular shampoo every couple days and see what happens.  Maybe it depends on the hair type.

I'm sure this wasn't super helpful.  I hope someone else has ideas for you.

Shampoo and conditioner?  I'm still working on this but am currently liking ACV, water, and peppermint TTO as conditioner.  Burts Bee's pomegranite and raspberry is ok.

  • Dishwasher soap?- 7th Generation

Face lotion? From Trader Joes in an orange tube.

Shampoo and conditioner? Again trader joes stuff

Dishwasher soap? We use BioKleen, we've been very happy with it.  We tried several different green products in our craptacular dishwasher before we found this one.

Face lotion? Still using Aveeno.  Not sure how green that is, but it sure does work!

Shampoo and conditioner? Avalon Organics.  They meet my Big 4 for personal care products:  No SLS (beyond it being bad for you, DH is very allergic), no animal ingredients, no animal testing, and no parabens.

  • Dishwasher soap?  We currently don't have a dishwasher.

Face lotion?  I use Trader Joe's Spa Regenerating Antioxidant Moisturizing Face Lotion (yes, it is the world's longest product name... ever)

Shampoo and conditioner?  Use Burt's Bees and Kiss My Face shampoos and conditioners

  • Dishwasher soap?  I don't know.  We haven't run out of the old stuff yet so I haven't switched products.

Face lotion?  I use Avalon Oranics vitamin C in the morning because I need the SPF.  I also use OCM whenever my face gets too dry.

Shampoo and conditioner?  Err, I'm using Renpure Organics.  I bought the formulas for dry hair, and I feel like it leaves it way too greasy.  I have also grown skeptical about the companies "100% certified organic ingredients" claim.  I emailed them a few months ago, but I didn't get an answer to the question, "Who is your certifier (USDA, Oregon Tilth)?  I hate feeling tricked by greenwashing.
