This weekend we're probably sticking close to home, doing some organizing and cleaning. Found out that DH doesn't have to travel for work next week, which is amazing, so we're going to take advantage of having him here and OD on family time.

Most of my weekend will be spent at the office. I feel like we should just move in and live there right now. We have 2 fully opened cubes that can fit 2-3 people each now and soon will have 1 private office open after I clean out the last cabinet.
Has anyone been to Stella's Lounge or The Viceroy? They are less than a 1/2 block away and wondered if anyone has made it in there yet?

Our weekend will be boring. We have to go out to dinner tonight, while strangers rummage through our home. Then cleaning like crazies on Saturday, and finally spening Sunday hiding at MIL while more strangers trample through our house. Joy. Anyone know of any other ideas of what we can do for 4 hours with a dog?
Please someone buy my house. Anyone know anyone in the market? FHS, GR taxes... we are willing to go far below market value.
So I ordered a bag from an Etsy seller in Istanbul almose 3 weeks ago, and I still have no bag. I keep checking the tracking number (shipped USPS) and it says it left her country on December 31, but doesn't offer any other information beyond that. I know I need to be patient because it's from another country, but I'm kind of annoyed. I want my new purse already!
Should I email the seller and tell her I still haven't received my bag, or wait another couple days?
Wait until Tuesday or Wed. PO and UPS are still kinda screwy from the holidays and Monday is MLK Day.

Deeder, I've been to Stella's Lounge. All I got was beer and fries, so I can't say much about the place. What I ate and drank was good though.

We don't have any plans this weekend. I need to clean my house and spend some time on my volunteer work. And I'd like to get serious about putting together a printed photo album of our Arizona trip. But that involves sorting through hundreds of pictures, so I keep putting it off.

This weekend, we have no plans! Jim's thesis is done. I don't have class. We'll be getting the house ready a little, and kind of just being 4 people together. Wheeee!

I'd wait it out. Postal service in other countries is often more sporadic than good ol' regular US of A. For example, the post office in Australia was closed the entire week after Christmas due to the Christmas holiday and then Boxing Day, and it's just not as big of a priority there to have regular service. Also, the United States has recently upped its security regulations on packages to/from the country - especially packages coming INTO America. Things that used to take two weeks to clear customs and get to the destination are now taking three or more weeks. The Christmas gifts we shipped to my sister in Australia in mid-December STILL have not arrived at her doorstep.
