If you could have just one ridiculous/overindulgent luxury in your house, what would it be?
Re: QOTD - Friday 1/14
A housekeeper who came every day.
If we're talking STUFF..... idk, a spin bike? Sad that the most ridiculous/overindulgent is like $1000 and would pay for itself in gym memberships. Lame.
A sauna or a library with TONS of shelves...just a whole room dedicated to books.
Definitely this. I love watching shows on extreme backyards. A pool with a waterfall and a gourmet outdoor kitchen.
An outdoor entertainment area- kitchen, bar, seating, etc with heaters for the winter and trees for shade in the summer.
Hmmmm....I enjoy cooking, but I would love a personal chef (who could also teach me things.) It exhausting sometimes trying to come up with new healthy recipes.
If we're talking about STUFF then I'm stealing lucky's idea for the outside patio/pool/entertaining area. I love the outdoor living spaces that look like a family room with a fireplace and have a whole outdoor kitchen.
All high-end appliances. I would love to replace my washer and dryer, especially.

Ooh, I change my answer to this one!
I would have the most tricked out pool in the history of pools. A combination indoor/outdoor. Like if you merged these together:
Never mind the fact that my yard is the size of three cubicles. Details. Pish posh.
I'd love to replace the entire ac/heating system with one that has timed zones depending on what part of the house is being used when. It would probably be a lot to put in, but it would save so much money in the long run.
Or maybe enclose the porch in glass, ventilate it, and put a top of the line elliptical machine out there. There is seriously no place for it anywhere else. As spacious as this house is, all the extra space is out in the open. Not really a great place for an elliptical.
Great idea to pip...this is the kind of library room I was envisioning...at least for the walls and of course the moving ladder. I'd make it brighter though, with windows/lots of natural light coming in from the other walls and more modern/more comfortable furniture:
I just want a maid
Or, I could totally go for a totally re-done master bath with heated floors, a jacuzzi, separate heater so its nice and toasty when I get out of the shower and a coffee bar.
I'm having a treadmill delivered today, which was a pre-pregnant purchase... so it's no longer able to go in the office (will be nursery) so DH and I agreed that it will go in the garage while it's still cool out, then our bedroom in the summer and I'll get a room divider screen thing to hide it since our bedroom is massive. He's going to run a cable splitter so I can put a TV in the garage... but I'm not thrilled about this situation.
Here's the swim up bar my pool would have:
Does this also come with a hot, shirtless, male bartender?
How is it that my BABY is going to be 3?
