Whine Wednesday, Thankful Thursday, Factoid Friday... all in one
I figured since we didn't do this earlier in the week I'd put them all together.
Whine - I'm tired of being sick and on medication. I tend to be allergic to most med's (as I'm finding out later in life).
Thankful - for the snow day Wednesday so I caught up on some sleep. I'm thankful to have next Monday off as well. Thank you MLK Jr!
Factoid - I get bored easily so I can't just sit around and do nothing. Yesterday when I didn't have anything else to do at work I started tearing the posters down to put up new posters for the second half of the year. I'm a little OCD about it too - they have to be straight, no crooked posters for me!

Whine -My DH is sick with a horrendous cough...and on Wednesday night, he didn't think to move into the guest room until 3 am. Needless to say, yesterday was rough for both of us.

Factoid - I really dislike when people raise their voices for no real reason. The teacher across the hall from me yells about 15 times a day, and it makes me nuts. Sometimes, if she is realy angry, I can hear her with the door closed. I am sorry, I know kids can be frustrating, but not scream-worthy!
Whine - It took me 2.5 hours to get into work today. Usually its a 50 min commute. 2 accidents and bad drivers on the way (merge means alternate every other!!!) made me an hour late. Luckily my admins and teachers are awesome and delayed my first group.
Thankful - My family rocks. Yesterday I had a really bad run in at a grocery store near my school (I teach in a very poor neighborhood. Woman got in my face and reamed me out for about 3 minutes, calling me the most heinous names and racial slurs I have ever heard. She really shook me to the core. Had trouble sleeping, shed many tears. I am the furthest from racist and she accused me of some horrible things and mind you she doesn't even know me. Ignorant.) Well at 545 my brother texted me to remind me to pack my lunch and that he was praying for me and that she had no idea how much I do for the kids in "her" neighborhood. My mom called at 730 to say she loved me and supported what I do. And my dad (who can't make calls) snuck out of a meeting to use his cell and call to say he loved me and admires my strength for what I do and where I am. I cried when I got off the phone with him because as hard as my days are sometimes and while I know they support me, it's nice to hear it, especially after someone degrades me like that woman did.
Factoid - I am a Harry Potter nut. I love the books, movies, etc. I have gotten Jeff to watch all but one with me (on the agenda for this weekend!) He's now hooked and has given into my requests we visit Harry Potter World in FL

Whine: My house has no storage- seriously- like none and I'm sick of the rubbermaids and boxes everywhere...
Thankful: My baby boy is one today and we're so blessed to have him in our life
Fact:Im BIG on birthdays- I like my birthday better than christmas and I'm going all out for Lorenzo's 1st Bday even though he wont remember it...and I will continue to go all out
Whine: I'm still not pregnant...looks like the HSG trick isn't going to work for me. I've caught the strangest illness since Christmas and it's put me behind on working out and making my break before IUI's really worth it
Thankful: for taking a much needed break and trip to FL and Harry Potters world.
whine: I'm sick and tired of being a resident. It sucks that even when I'm on an elective month I have to spend my weekends tied to a pager within 30 minutes of the hospital and end up missing important things like birthdays, family gatherings, and time with my baby girl.
thankful: for my husband who deals with the above crappiness and still loves me.
fact: like abba I am OBSESSED with parties. I don't really care about myself, but can't wait to throw my daughter's next birthday party and it's months away.
