Invites

I'm looking for awesome surprise birthday party invites for DH's birthday in February.  Any help would be appreciated!  I've been looking all over and haven't like any of the standard ones I've found.  If it helps, he's turning 30 this year!

Re: Invites

  • You could always print your own on card stock.  Target, Michael's and even Office Depot all sell printable invites with matching envelopes.  You could google invites that you like for inspiration.

Another option would be to use a photo of him as the invite - with text on it.

    HTH!

Those are all great ideas!  Thanks!

    This.

  • ditto pp... you can create them on vistaprint.. they're offering 100 free postcard size cards right now.  All you have to pay is shipping and at least they'll be professionally printed.
  • DIY's not my thing, so you won't catch me printing my own.  I've been very pleased with TinyPrints' quality and Fine Stationery's selection.
  • did you want the invite to include any sort of theme? or a specific look?

i have a pretty decent selection of invites here, and maybe you'll get an idea.

  • Thank you ladies for all your advice.  I decided to do a murder mystery party (we love them), and the kit comes with invitations.  I'm going to print off something to put in them letting people know that it's a surprise.
