B-Day Gift Idea Help!!

I need to buy a b-day gift for my cousin-in-law.  We're planning a trip to Hawaii in July, so we were thinking about getting her something she can use for the trip.  I was thinking perhaps getting her a few things and putting them together in like a gift basket/box.  I'm drawing a blank on what to get her.  Any ideas?

  • Maybe you could buy her a cute beach bag to put the stuff in.  You could fill it with a good book, a little bottle of sunscreen and/or aloe, a cute pair of flip flops, an eye mask (for the flight), maybe an inflatable tube or something for the water, a cheap lei (party stores usually have them).  I dunno...a few things to consider anyway.

  • I like sunshine's idea.  To add to it.... a pretty hat (to keep the sun out of her eyes). Do you know what kind of camera she has? You could get a memory card for her camera?  Or a digital frame for all the pics she'll have when she gets back.

I like your idea.  Now to find summery items during winter...

I've been getting a lot of catalogs and ads for summer stuff already.  Stores will start putting their summer lines out soon b/c spring break is coming up and all that.  We have a few stores around us (like Everything But Water) that have beach stuff all year round.  You can find anything online these days, too.

  • Sunshine has some good ideas, but I was thinking one of those wrap things that have a cute 'hawaiian' print. Sorry, I am blanking on what they are really called though, so I guess I am not much help.

Her b-day party is tomorrow Embarrassed  I'm going to stop by WalMart and Target on lunch.  Old Navy might have summer clearance items too.

    A sarong.  I think that's how it's spelled.
