I am home, the kids are playing upstairs, sick husband is napping. I have a computer... I'm taking advantage of the moment by posting a lot here.
Share something that you think others should know about. A book title and quick reason why someone should read it, a link to a song that we should hear, a photo or a story about something you made or did...

This most heart breaking and eye opening documentary I have ever seen. A group of activists, including the dolphin trainer who trained Flipper, infiltrate a cove in Japan to expose the horrific animal abuse.
After seeing this, I will never patronize any place that has dolphins in captivity. It sound like a horrible sad thing to watch, but I think people need to be aware what it going on and how those dolphins get in those tanks.
Anybody else read this? I was surprised that I liked it. I made me think and I usually don't like books that make me think.
Didn't work for me either, but I think it's "The Cove"?
I couldn't think of anything to share at first. I haven't read any awesome books lately, seen any awesome movies, or read any awesome articles.
But then a southern man walked by my office and winked at me. (True story.)
So for lack of anything else, I'll post this.
Ah... southerners. If you haven't read Gone With the Wind yet, read it.
Martin Sexton is going to be at the Intersection on Wed. Jan. 26.
I think you should go.
Check out his music here (warning, the link brings music immediately, so maybe not office safe). I LOVE the song that plays on his main page, so if you can listen to it, do so.

"The Diary of Anne Frank" opens tonight at Civic Theatre and runs through January 30.
I think everyone should go because my mother is in it, playing the part of Mrs. Frank. She's been doing community theater for more than a decade and finally, finally, got a part at Civic.
