Jibarra in downtown Raleigh?

Has anyone been to Jibarra in downtown Raleigh?  (It is near the Pitt).  It is "modern Mexican."

They used to be in N. Raleigh on Six Forks & we went when they were still there, haven't been since they moved downtown. They margaritas were awesome, apps were great, entr?es were good, but for the money we weren't impressed. I have heard from a few people that they've really stepped it up since moving downtown, so I would give it a try, esp. for drinks and apps.

They have two locations! Six Forks is still open. Menus are definitely different, and downtown location is so small! 

 I agree its more expensive mexican and sometimes what I get for the money its slightly overpriced, other times its so delicious its worth it.

 

Other 'above average' mexican is Dos Perros in Durham or Cantina 18 at Cameron Village.

I've heard great things about Dos Perros, too - maybe I'll have to scope that out soon!

Jibarra is very good, Dos Taquitos is also good.  The DT downtown is good but has a limited menu, the one off Creedmoor is better and is funky on the inside.  The one off Creedmoor is one of my favorite restaurants in town.
