Anyone childless and not KU or TTC for at least a year or more?

Re: Anyone childless and not KU or TTC for at least a year or more?
Ditto! Me! ME!!! I'm not!
Um, I'm on the fence..lol. I wasn't planning to until maybe this summer at the earliest. But surprise, surprise!
But in all honesty, I'm excited about it now.
Ha! Yeah, I wasn't going to drink either, but today has been a hellacious day at work. DH and I are going to Kickbacks for a beer as soon as it hits 5:00.
No baby hate meant in my excitement either. I love babies, I'm just not really down with the idea of growing one right now.
Both you and LB should have a glass of wine for me tonight!
Deal.
Awesome! I got this cool painted wine glass (with flamingos) from DH's aunt for x-mas. I can't wait to use it. I am seriously thinking of bringing it and a bottle of wine with me to the hosptial when I deliver.
apparently I've had similar things on my mind. I swear to God I hear new pregnancy announcements on a daily basis between facebook and work friends.
We are not TTC now or anytime soon. And to be honest my cycle is so screwed up that even when we start it will probably be a long road. Which is depressing.

Y'all have a glass for me too - I miss my wine
Kristin - My girlfriends brought me wine in the hospital after B was born, it has never tasted SO good!
Don't be depressed. My cycle was totally f'd up. I didn't have a period from Jan-June, they tested me for PCOS and all kinds of things. My cycle started again and was so random it drove me crazy... and then I got pregnant... so you really never know! I honestly thought I was barren or going to have a really hard time TTC up until December.
I had a small glass of wine on Thanksgiving. DH's aunt and uncle brought it back from their trip from France. It was the best thing ever!
that's really cool that it surprised you like that, maybe I'll get lucky too. I haven't ovulated since September, but right now I am in the middle of my 6th week straight of bleeding. Which means I was on my period for my entire 3 week vacation. That sucked.

I agree. It seems that everywhere you turn a new friend is saying, "Guess what?"
Oh gosh, that's awful during vacation! And 6 weeks, yikes! Have you gone in for test and stuff?
While we were not expecting to get pregnant at all, I definitely am like well, this could be my one shot ever, so I am thankful it happened.
ever since I got back I've been calling trying to get my doc to see me. I had to practically cry on the phone this afternoon to get an appointment for tuesday morning.

LB, I'm with you in the feeling alone in the boat thing. My fb has blown up with pg announcements in the last few months. Some girls I graduated HS with 7 years ago are on their 2nd and 3rd child. I prefer to think about all the cool stuff I have and fun things H and I do when I see those announcements.
Me too. It's been months since I had AF (like 4-ish) and i'm already depressed about trying. I would seriously love to have a baby right now but we need to wait until DH gets a grown up job and we pay off some debt.
