Newbie get together?
There seem to be quite a few new people to Boston (including me!) so I was wondering if anyone else who doesn't really know anyone was interested in getting together for lunch/dinner/drinks in Boston?

We haven't done a GTG in a while; it'd be fun to see people. A lot of you I missed out on meeting last summer when I missed the Waltham GTG (that I organized
).
If we do it in Boston, though, it'd be tough for me because I have to catch the last bus home at 6pm. If it were in Waltham or Newton, I could do something at 6:30 or 7:00pm maybe. What works for everyone else?
Getting fit for IVF!
Yup, I'm in the same area. The GTGs are always so far away! Someday I want to be able to come to one!!

Me neither. I guess Dedham might be a good midpoint between Boston and Wrentham, but it'd be tough for me to get there at a decent hour on a weekday.

I'm down near Wrentham as well - past it actually - so I agree that going all the way into Boston can be a pain. Dedham would be so much easier to get to!
OK, so if we were to do a Dedham GTG, what time would people want to do it? I would be pretty late for a weekday GTG, like 7pm at best and probably closer to 7:30. But if you guys can do it earlier, then you should!
Alternatively, we could do a Sat/Sun brunch-type GTG instead. Following that up with some shopping at Legacy Place wouldn't be so bad
I'm single for the next two weekends as DH is traveling so I'm up for whatever.
I'd be up for a Sat lunch - I'm available this weekend (not next weekend) and most weekends in February.

Getting fit for IVF!
I haven't nested in so long! I'd be up for a get together. Sundays and Mondays work well for me. Up until March I'll have my car, then once I move to Somerville I'll be using the T or the commuter rail.
I would love to be part of the GTG!

I'm down for that! The outlets are on winter hours right now and close at 6 during the week. But Rancho Chico on Rt1 is great for Mexican, or Tavolino's in Foxboro is delicious. Or Uno's in Wrentham. Cafe Asissi on Wampum Corner is a-ma-zing, but always packed. DH is home around 5:30, so I could be any of those places by 6.
And it sounds like a lot of people are interested in a Dedham gtg. Who wants to plan it?
