Where r u taking a photography class/workshop?? Is it a one time thing or a class over like a semester?
Re: *syndelin*
It was a workshop with Val Westover and Stephanie Adriana out at the Buttes. They do them fairly often, and it was really great. Well worth the time and money! Val was able to explain things in a way that really clicked for me.
I haven't been this excited about using my camera since I bought it. LOL
Yeah, it was a Groupon deal... we paid $48 each I think. It's normally like $250 or something. Honestly, it would have been worth it at full price.
We went to the botanical gardens today to play around and keep practicing, and it's a huge difference in how I was able to do things, and how well I could adjust for different situations and lighting. I'm extremely happy with the outcome.
I thought I saw that a while back. That's good to hear. I really need to look into taking a class. It's so fun when you know at least a little bit about what you're doing.
Sweetie - there is a photography board on the bump. I haven't taken any actual classes, but I have actually learned a lot over there. There are some pretty awesome girls over there who have pointed me in the direction of some great tutorials and blogs, and also who have answered a lot of questions and just made it all a lot easier to understand.
If you are at all interested in photography, I highly recommend going over there. It's really a great board!
I love that board. Yup, luker on there. Learned a lot from them wonderful ladies.
