(XP on Twilight Book Club Board; What's Cooking?)
I'm having a Twilight-themed graduation party. I just finished my Master's in Literature and my thesis was on the Twilight saga (media impact, fairy tale imagery, etc.). So, I figured it would be an appropriate theme for my graduation party since it's what I've been working on for the past 2.5 years!
We've got decor down -- I'm using some of the Hostess with the Mostess printouts as well as some I've made myself. We're doing lots of red apples, floating candles, etc.
We've got the favors down -- we're making a red/white/black candy station in various jars. We're also doing "puppy chow" (Chex mix) and dog bone shaped sugar cookies for Team Jacob.
We've got the drinks down -- Vampire wine (it's a brand), red Crush or Jones or Izze sodas with personalized labels, and Renesmee's Non-Alcoholic punch (aka, Shirley Temples).
What we're struggling on is food. Everyone's go-to is "mushroom ravioli" since that's what Bella eats on her first date with Edward, but we're not doing a sit-down meal. In fact, it's more casual -- not really cocktail party, because the age range of guests is 3 months to 75 years, but more heavy apps. We'd like to be able to somehow tie it to the books or movies, even if it's just stretching the names of things (for example -- bagel bite pizzas that are "Forks Caffeteria Lunch" or mini corn dogs or pigs in a blanket that we can call "The Wolf Pack").
Any ideas? Even just app. ideas (need lots of vegetarian ones!!!) that I can try to stretch/name later would be helpful.
Re: Twilight Themed Party (Food Ideas Needed!)
How about giant muffins? Can you tell that I pick up the the MOST random parts of Twilight movies? All I can remember is the ginormous muffins that the werewolf's girlfriend (the one that the werewolf slashed her face up because he 'couldn't control his anger") serves Jacob and the other boys when he brings Bella over
Otherwise, it's sort of funny to realize that there is almost NO food in the movies
i went to a Twilight bookclub with fellow nesties and one of the perfect things to go with the theme was the syring shots.

I host a Twilight DVD release party each time a new movie comes out - complete with a movie-specific drinking game! I think your party sounds fun! Congrats on graduation.
Apple pie bites - to go with the Apple cover design
Sugar cookies that say "Bite Me", "Team Edward", "Team Jacob," or "Team Emmett"
I've made these with great success.
Appetizers with little forks stuck in them for serving. (Get it, FORKS!!! I know you do.)
Charlie's favorite ___(enter whatever you want to make)__
Bella's Blood...Orange Appetizer. For example, this.

My read shelf:

I had a Twilight and New Moon Party. I got creative with the food... Here were some of the things we served:
Dirt Cake (Oreos, vanilla pudding, etc.) and I sprinkled oreos on top and put one of my brothers little toy motorcycles on it. I printed up a picture of Jacob's garage and stuck it in the cake and called it 'Forks Dirt' Cake
I served 'I just PUNCHed a werewolf in the face' for a drink.
Team Jacob (chocolate) and Team Edward (red velvet cupcakes)
I also had dips with crazy names.
