Ipad. locking touch screen.
Is it possible to lock the touch screen while watching a movie? My toddler loves to watch movies on it but can't help but touch the screen and ends up stopping the movie every 30 seconds. Thanks!
Re: Ipad. locking touch screen.
Gloves! (Somehow I don't think a toddler would go for that.
I don't know of a way to lock it (though there could be one), so I would try to find some kind of plastic case or screen cover that you could put over it to block the capacitive sensing. Maybe even something like a sheet of plastic wrap as a very low-tech solution?
I don't think there is. But there may be an app somewhere that would help you accomplish that.
If not, and assuming you don't have a case for it, I've seen hard, clear plastic cases and completely surround an iPad and are meant to open all the way to make it in to a stand. But you can latch it closed and let your kiddo watch through the cover. I'm 99% sure I saw it on Amazon but a quick look didn't turn it up. You may have better luck.
