I have never bought a decent bra, always buying cheap ones that break after a month or two. I have decided I need to spend the money and buy a quality bra.
Where do you buy your bras?
What do you prefer (ex; Underwire, padded, cotton etc)?
How do you wash your bras? (I have always threw with normal laundry my gf recently thought I was crazy says she washed them separate and hang dries.
How often do you replace your bras?
Re: Bra Poll
Where do you buy your bras? I have larger breasts, so I usually buy mine at Lane Bryant. They have the best ones that are cute and fit well.
What do you prefer (ex; Underwire, padded, cotton etc)? Almost always underwire...they hold the girls up better when they are this large.
How do you wash your bras? I wash them in the regular laundry, but then hang dry them.
How often do you replace your bras?I have 3-4 that I use regularly, so I spread it out throughout the year so every couple months I get a new one, but then throw the old ones away. If they are all in pretty good shape, then I skip that month. What do you prefer (ex; Underwire, padded, cotton etc)? I prefer underwire, but my torso is super short and the wires always poke me in the armpit when I sit or bend. I usually end up with no underwire just to avoid that. I'm pretty open on everything else.
How do you wash your bras? Underwires are hand washed and hung to dry. The others are washed in a lingerie bag and hung to dry.
How often do you replace your bras? I don't really have a set time frame. I guess whenever they're getting stretched out or unsupportive.
Tired after a long morning of hiking and swimming.
Where do you buy your bras? Usually Macy's. I have a certain brand/style I like. I know Macy's has it, so it's easiest to go there. Other places probably have them too, but I'm lazy.
Here is a like to the one I like. http://www.balicompany.com/detail.asp?col=25&cat=1&styleno=3726&color=10
What do you prefer (ex; Underwire, padded, cotton etc)? Underwire. I HATE padded bras.
How do you wash your bras? Regular wash and hang dry.
How often do you replace your bras? I usually buy 2 or 3 a year.
Where do you buy your bras? The last bras I bought were from Nordstroms--they had my odd size.
What do you prefer (ex; Underwire, padded, cotton etc)? Nothing too padded with underwire. I have a small frame and large breasts so I like enough padding so that I'm not nipping out all day and the underwire for a little support. I prefer more of a full coverage as well.
How do you wash your bras? How often do you replace your bras? I wash them in a lingire bag with my other laundry in like colors on cold and hang dry. I replace them when they look and feel like they need replaced, some I can go over a year because I don't wear them as often.

Where do you buy your bras? Victoria's Secret online (I watch for sales!)
What do you prefer (ex; Underwire, padded, cotton etc)? Padded
How do you wash your bras? Handwash and lay flat to dry.
How often do you replace your bras? Whenever they get stretched out, which of course depends on how often I wear them. Even my most frequently-worn bras last several years though... I'd guess my average bra lifespan is about 4-5 years?
I used to buy VS back in my 20s but since I've been married I just buy cheap Target ones. My sister swears I have to go to Nordstrom, she has a lady that works there she loves and she got fitted and bought some bras and said her size she had always worn was waaaay off. So I figure once I lose baby weight I might treat myself.
I prefer cotton with underwire
I wash them in one of those bra bags, works great. The question you should add on here is - how OFTEN do you wash them? I feel like I don't wash them nearly enough. I have a couple that I rotate and I honestly wash them maybe once a month. Yuk.
I haven't replaced bras in a long time. Even my Target ones have lasted a couple years.
Where do you buy your bras? VS
What do you prefer (ex; Underwire, padded, cotton etc)? i like the no wire, lightly lined bras from VS. i think they are just the "Body by Victoria" demis? i do have 1 padded one that i wear if i want to try to fill out a top more. I'm only an A cup so i need all the help i can get !
How do you wash your bras? i wash with my regular clothes in a bra bag then hang dry. we always wash on cold.
How often do you replace your bras? same as everyone else. when they get worn out. even my "favorite" bras usually last a few years though.Where do you buy your bras? Nordstrums or Macy for the first one and then find them cheaper on line.
What do you prefer (ex; Underwire, padded, cotton etc)? Underwire with no padding. I have enough on my own. : )
How do you wash your bras? wash with everything else but hang dry
How often do you replace your bras? As needed. Majority last over a year.
I usually pillage the sales racks at Macy's. Normally I find the Maidenform or Warners to be the best fits for me.
I wash my bras but hang to dry. My bra life is probably around 2 1/2 years.
I get mine at LB as well.
Always have an underwire. Always. Did I saw always?
I'm a busty gal and if there is no wire, I look all sorts of funky. I tend to get cotton ones but I do have a couple "padded" ones for days when I'm wearing a thinner shirt and don't want to nip out all day. I do have a couple lacy ones (mostly for DH's benefit truth be told) but I only wear those with heavier shirts because the texture shows through anything t-shirt weight.
For washing, I hook them and toss them in with a dedicated load of "hang dry" clothes so they don't accidentally get in the dryer. They get spread out on a drying rack to dry. They tend to last a year+ that way. Usually the underwire breaks before something else goes wrong. dang boobs.
