This has pretty much been the day from hell....
....My little man blew another disc in his back. I can't believe this happened. I spent the entire day in the vet in East Greenwich and just scheduled his second surgery from tomorrow morning....I can't believe we are here again, my heart completely broke this morning when I went in the dog's room to get them up for the day, I thought I was going to get sick...I never thought I would be that person who spends thousands on their dog but I cannot bring myself to put him down. I have been crying all day and have the worst headache!!
I am in our home office right now and he is in the crate snoring, haha.
If you can please keep my DeNiro in your thoughts for a quick and easy surgery tomorrow, it would be much appreciated. It seems silly in comparison to some of the issues others have and I understand that.
Now I'm off to take a nap.

Aww hunny. I'm so sorry! When really understand how much they mean until it comes to a point where they may not be there anymore. it's heartbreaking. You just feel useless cause there is nothing you can do for him. they can't tell you where it is hurts, or how much. i hate it.
I'll keep little D in my thoughts, and here's to hoping this is the last time the rascal does it.
Boo! I know your pain! I am sorry your pup has to have surgery. However, from VERY recent experience at Ocean State Vet I can vouch for their skill. My lab just had back to back ACL surgeries 8 weeks apart! And I completely agree with you...I never thought I would spend the money I have on him but we love him and he's one of our babies!
