i went to the dentist today...
to get the crown started for the tooth that will never stop. (the one I had a root canal on last month).
The assistant was really really hard on my jaw. She was pulling on it. I have TMJ- it flares up from time to time, and usually the dentist allows me to take a break, checks in, etc.
Well today my jaw locked open not once but three times. The dentist had to manipulate my jaw to close. I tried not to freak out, but all I could think about was never being able to close my mouth again.
i'm afraid to yawn now....

You always hope that professionals have it together, but in the case of this assistant I wonder.
