Group dinning options?

Need you help. : )

A friend of mine is coming into town for the Yankee Dental Conference and needs to take her office out for dinner. The conference is at the new Boston Convention Center. She was thinking somewhere in the North End, but I have mixed feelings about the North End. We want to try to avoid big chains... The main problem is that there will be about 20 people.

I'm having a hard time with this. I thought of Stella in the South End, but that's kind of far.  Any thoughts would be great!

  • Something in Faneuil Hall?  Anthem, McCormick & Schmick's

If they're up for venturing into Chinatown, East Ocean City is reasonably nice and has great food.

I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • Yum, McCormicks is great, but I'm a seafood junkie so I'm biased! In the North End there's also Piccola Venzia or Via Matta in the back bay.
