Scrapbooking retreat between Madison and Minneapolis?
Hello Wisconsin Friends,
I live in Minneapolis, but my SIL lives in the Madison area. We were talking about trying to find a place between Madison and Minneapolis where we could meet for a weekend scrapbooking retreat. I have gone on several weekend retreats here in Minnesota, but I am trying to fnd a spot that we could possibly meet half way at.
Since she is the mother of 3 and me of only a dog, I would be willing to drive more into Wisconsin to lessen her drive.
Any suggestions? I did a google search and did find the Blooing Escapes in Wisconsin Dells, but it appears they want $600 for 3 people for two nights in one room. There would only be the two of us and we don't want to pay $300 for the weekend.
