Overall, though, I feel like we've been pretty light snow-wise this year.  Until this last big dump, we really didn't have much.  I think I prefer a couple of big storms to tons of smaller ones like we had a couple of years ago.  I felt like that time I was out shoveling every other day.

Snow is the worst.  I am not looking forward to going home tonight in the rain/snow/ice mix either.  Yuck.  The sidewalks were just finally starting to get clear from the last storm!

The ride this morning was awful... I had a professional development day in Northboro... I left the South End at 7:15am... I made it to Southboro by 9:45, (which should have been a 45 min. commute) I could not make it up the hill on rte. 9 so I came home. I was on the road from 7:15-11:15... I'm going to open a bottle of wine with dinner tonight.

Someone on my friends list on Facebook had status updates all morning from her phone.  She was on her way to Northborough for professional development and she said everyone was getting stuck going up the hill on Rte. 9.  Maybe she saw you. lol 

At least you're home now, though, and off the roads!

I used to like snow. This is the first year I have really had to drive in it (and it's a 30+ mile commute each way) so I would be really happy if it did not snow again this winter!

It took me over 1.5 hours to go 6 miles to get to work today- mostly because the streets weren't plowed at all (and we had 4 or 5 inches of snow!) and the highway was backed up because of all the people heading towards the hospital getting stuck. It was awful! I don't understand why they wouldn't plow the main route to the hospital. My commute home was only a few minutes longer than on a normal day, but it took me about 20 minutes to scrape the ice off my car!

I'm looking forward to sitting on the couch with some hot chocolate tonight.
