Breakfast Casserole

1 can crescent rolls - whatever flavor you like

1 bag frozen hash brown, browned and seasoned

1 small onion, diced/ or 3 green onions, sliced, cooked in hash browns

8oz mushrooms, cut small, sauteed and mixed in hash browns

1/2 pack bacon, diced and fried crisp, mix in hash browns

1/2 package sausage, whatever flavor, browned

8 eggs, scrambled - not cooked

8oz grated cheese of your choice

milk or cream

salt,pepper,garlic powder to taste

~~ Line the bottom of a 13x7 casserole dish with unrolled crescent roll. On top of that, layer hash brown mixture. Sprinkle with sausage and grated cheese.  Pour uncooked scrambled egg/milk mixture on top of everything evenly and put in a 375 degree oven on middle rack.  Cook approx 30 minutes, or until egg rises and is firm on top.  Allow to cool.

**note** make sure to season all of your steps (ex - season hash browns as you're cooking, and eggs as you are scrambling, etc) otherwise I find I have a washed out, bland dish when its done

enjoy!  this freezes really well too.... but I find that it reheats/tastes better if I thaw it completely first before warming in the oven

Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
