Meijer mPerks FYI

If you are signed up, there are a lot of fresh vegetable coupons available right now to be clipped.

I also got a free 1/2 gallon of milk in mine.  Yay.

Re: Meijer mPerks FYI

  • I don't know about mPerks, but I'm intrigued.

You like the program, apparently?  And you find good coupons?  Is it very time consuming to look through the coupons?

It's SUPER easy.  Easy to sign up, easy to clip coupons, and easy to use.  Not time consuming at all.

You sign up on the website, clip the coupon virtually, and then type your phone number into the keypad at check, and voila, all the coupons you clipped will be applied to your total.

    And it's free?

Ummm.  Yes, but they send text messages every once in a while (that's how I knew to check for my free milk) so if you don't have a texting plan, you would have to pay for the text.

  • Okay, cool.  I was just wondering if there was a monthly subscription fee like some coupon services out there.

Thanks for the post about this.  I'm going to check it out.

  • Thanks for the heads up! I'm also going to check this out.
  • Is there a way to keep a list of all the coupons you have available to use? I often make purchase decisions based on what coupons I have in my hand. If they're "virtual" coupons, I'm not sure I would be thinking to check that site as much...you know? Kinda thinking as I write here...

This is a feature I wish they had.

I just jot down the ones I clip on a piece of paper.  Kinda defeats the purpose, yes...

  • Thanks for the heads up!

You can also email yourself the list. I do that right before I go to the store and pull up my email while I'm shopping.

I think you can also opt out of the texts, at least you could in the beta stage.

  • I had no idea about this, thanks for sharing!

I write down the coupons I clip.  But I'm crazy organized and divide my grocery list into the aisles at the store. Embarrassed I also use their meijer mealbox planning tool to choose meals to make.  They offer extra coupons for some of the items that way.
