The driveway is covered with at least 2 inches of ice, I can't even walk outside without falling everywhere! Poor DH fell this morning walking to his truck for work and cut his arm.

And it is snowing again and we are expecting a storm on Friday...we need a break already!

I AGREE. We got 3 feet of snow last week. Now we have 1/2 inch of ice on top of that and we're also expecting snow on friday. YUCK!

I second the agreement!  I can't argue with 3 feet of snow.. But it snowed Sunday into Monday.  Then it rained and sleeted and snowed again on Monday.  We have 2 inches of ice everywhere!!  Our apartment didn't salt at all, and it's on top of a big hill next to a ravine.  You have to be careful to not slide all the way down or drive into the woods    Plus, there is black ice on I74 that I take to work.  It is snowing again today and tomorrow. Friday we have a high of 7. Yay.  I hate winter.

It is crazy.  Luckily it was just warm enough on my way to work that the roads were not frozen.  But, like others, we are supposed to get more snow on Thursday night into Friday.  I don't want another snow day!  Now I want a summer vacation!

We also had some warmer temps this morning so all the rain we got yesterday wasn't iced over this morning. But there are definitely some spots in our drive/complex that are pure ice - always makes for a fun walk to the car in the morning.

We're supposed to get more snow on Friday too - I haven't checked to see how much but I'm really not excited about it. I'm so over the winter.

We've been getting hit with tiny but frequent storms.  Those are the worse in my opinion!  It's not enough snow or ice to close work but enough to make things miserable on the roads.  I either want a nice 1-foot storm or nothing at all!  And DH has been so anxious to be able to build an igloo (gotta love him) so it would be nice for him to be able to have his fun.

I was just reading an article that said that NYC has seen more snow than it sees in an average winter (it's seen 29 thus far) and that Boston has seen just about it's average (41.3 inches) and it's only January.  Spring can't get here fast enough!

I love the snow, but I also really love summer vacation so I don't want a million snow days.. we've had one each of the past two weeks, and who knows for Friday. 2 hour delays are nice but I don't know how the teachers are getting anything done!

And the icing is crazy. I live in the area that was hammered by the Ice Storm in 2008, do not want to relive that. I had to carry the dog up and down the stairs because I was afraid he would fall and scare himself. Luckily it was warm so most of that had melted by this afternoon.

I agree!!  I'm tired of the cold and snow.  They told us at work today that if we have 2 more snow days, they are taking away our April vacation.  Although I know that I'm extremely lucky to be in the job that I have, with the type of schedule I do, if the kids don't have that vacation, they are going to be out of control.
