Why my husband's (sport) job rocks
DH got an e-mail from Puma Apparel - they are a supplier for some of the sports teams he works with, and they want "real life athletes" for an upcoming photoshoot.
Since NCAA student-athletes are prohobited from appearing in these sorts of things (they can't use their likeness to promote a product, or their status as a student-athlete to promote a product) DH asked if I could do it (since I participate in USMS - US Masters Swimming - and regularly run road races).
They said sure! I don't get paid in money, but I will get paid in clothes. Which isn't bad either!
I swim because I'm too damned sexy for a sport that requires real clothing.

My girlfriend is a triathlete, I give her tons of credit for doing that, just something I couldn't do.

Aside from the thousands of dollars worth of clothes we get free from the school, Under Armour also gives us a shopping spree online every year..they give us a nice $ amount and then everything is 50% off so really it is double the amount they give us. I have so much UA stuff! Love it!
