Another round...

of the white stuff is supposed to start tomorrow morning, and like the last time, intensify throughout the day.  (I just realized that started off a little like "more rounds of gun shots" but no, its been fairly quiet since this morning.  hehe)

Where I am from we get feet of snow at a time, so I'm very used to it.  What we get here is very small in comparison.  However, that does not mean that I'm excited for it right now.  I feel like every time the snow finally melts or is washed away by rain, we get another big dumping.  I'm tired of having to wade through it.  Anyone else sick of the snow lately?!

I may not mind as much if I was able to enjoy some of it from the comforts of my own home, but we don't get to go home early no matter how bad it is.  I'm def jealous of those of you that can work from home.  Big Smile

  • I'm tired of it and excited for it at the same time. I'm mainly excited because despite it being a short work week it's been a rough one and I could use the day away from the kids.

  • I guess I'm weird. I love the snow. And we get it so briefly and so infrequently that it doesn't bother me in the least to have a day or two of schedules being screwed up.

Same here. I have work-from-home options, so I don't have to drive out in it if I don't want to. As long as I can avoid driving when the roads are bad, I like snow. I like seeing deer or dog prints in it. I love making snow angels and tossing snowballs for my dogs. I don't even mind running in it. And I just got snowboarding gear for xmas.

  • I am sick of the snow! I've been ready for spring since December!

  • I am so tired of the snow too. I wish it would be spring already! I should be used to the snow since I am from northern Ohio and we get tons of snow up there plus I went to college in Toledo where there is also a lot of snow as well.

I just hate driving in the snow. I definitely envy those that can work from home or have a more flexible schedule so they do not have to be out in it.

Couldn't agree with you more!  I'm also from Northern Ohio!!

My biggest thing is that in my many years in Cincinnati, we have some of the worst drivers in inclimate weather here; not just snow but the rain also.  I got stuck behind some lady this morning literally going 20 MPH on Ronald Reagan.  Which had no snow on it at all at that time.  It was ridiculous.  That's what I'm tired of.  And having to jump through piles of it.  Stick out tongue
