Is it just me or does it seem like most of the guys commenting on this are a bunch of D-bags? I mean really? I watch football ALL the time with the H, and I rarely follow the rules these guys are making. I mean I of pay attention and cheer for whatever team the H is cheering for, but I'm no football buff.

Re: 9 Rules for Watching Football with Guys
I think that article is complete BS, and I'm somewhat offended by it honestly. And yeah, total d-bags.
I grew up watching football (my mom and my grandmother are both big football fans, as well as the men in my family) and continue to watch football on occassion with my husband. And I do not believe that you need to act a certain way in order to gain the almighty privilege of watching football with a man (as alluded to in this article).
Amen.
I have a headache from rolling my eyes! What a bunch of self-important weiners.
""Before you show up, you should know who is playing, who are the quarterbacks for each team, what each team's record is (or just generally if they are good or bad this year), and if there are any big news stories involving players from either team. This really isn't hard, just read the preview article on espn.com before the game." ?Pete"
--Uh, no thanks. If I show up, it's to eat and hang out with my friends and pay polite interest to the game.
"the only acceptable beers are Coors, Miller, and Bud."
--Well that's extremely limited. I didn't know that football = lame beer day
never try to upstage a guy with sports trivia knowledge
girls shouldn't try too hard to be one of the guys
never hurts to offer to go get beers
It's not just you, Wop.
