A guy I went to high school with got married last weekend and I saw pictures on FB. They apparently had games. One was something with balloons held between guests' bellies (getting it from point A to point B?), plates with cakes sitting in guys' laps with girls having to eat them without hands, and something about the bride and the groom holding each other's shoes up in the air.
When I saw that, I honestly thought it was bizarre and slightly tacky. Am I just weird and it's a completely normal thing to do?? My sister had told me about a wedding she's been to where they did the same thing. And she and her FI also sounded pretty weirded out by that. So what are your thoughts?
Re: Games at weddings - WDYT?
Ha! That's what my husband said when I told him.
I guess I get the "depending on the size and how casual the wedding is" argument, but this seemed like a fairly formal wedding (although not too large), so it just struck me as odd.
Bubblegum Explosion
Yea...I don't know about this. =/
I have to say tho'...I vaguely remember something with a dollar bill played at my wedding (something the dj did with the guests), but that's about it. As for games like these, I think they may be a little tacky.
Yeah, that sounds like a centerpiece giveaway game I have participated in. I think one game like that is ok- just for the centerpieces. But not more than that.
