It's almost the weekend ladies! It's been too long. I was crazy busy at work the past few weeks, and spent part of Tues and yesterday in Detroit at our winter training meeting helping film some skits. Glad I don't have to be up there through the weekend like the rest of the people!

I think it's interesting that while my old boss was still here I had an okay schedule and things to do, and now that she's gone and new person is in charge, I'm bombarded and really busy. I think she's pushing things off to me and the other girl some things she should be doing.

DH going snowmobiling this weekend, weather permitting, so I thought I'd see how the weather is myself and maybe head up to A2. Haven't been there in awhile and I'm past due for a visit

Kitchen getting done is on the downslope - drain issue fixed yesterday and granite people coming back to fix a few things as well. It will be SOOOO nice to have the house back in order once we get rid of old appliances sitting around and clean all the rooms up. I'll have to post some more pics on FB!

Speaking of fixing things, DH leaves his tools EVERYWHERE. No wonder he can't find anything! There are tools on the kitchen counter, dining room in boxes, on the floor in the family room, downstairs in the work room, among other places. Just put them away when you're done or at least in the same place so next time you want to use it, it's in that spot! Arrghh!

I'm going to force DH to go to Costco tonight and redeem our gift membership. My grandma got it for him for Christmas and we have yet to redeem it. Let's just go already!

I am having the hardest time trying to find a pair of skinny jeans to wear with boots that aren't ill-fitting. I think I'm going to have to bite it and buy a little more expensive pair. I've looked 3 times for jeans and am finding nothing I like. It makes me not like shopping!

Another work related post: the anniversary history book that was my life for 6 weeks in the fall (at least) is for sale to our members! 400 copies are available for this first printing - it's kinda cool! A book is for sale that I designed I know it happens everyday but it's something I can put on my resume. And I'd better get a free copy b/c I'm not paying $65 for it.

Why do restaurants make salads so difficult to eat? I get my lunch yesterday at the hotel and there are long strips of lettuce on a plate. How am I supposed to eat this? Trying to cut the whole chicken breast into pieces with a playdough-sharp butter knife without lettuce falling off the plate was a nightmare. Just cut the lettuce into pieces thank you!
