I am in charge of the Valentine banquet at our church this year. It will be on the Saturday before Valentine's Day in our fellowship hall. We're having a catered steak and shrimp dinner and some kind of dessert. We're going to play a few games that they've played in the past. It's going to be about 50 couples. I really need decor help. We'll be using those long rectangular tables that seat 10, and we have white linen tableclothes to fit them. I'm thinking about red or fuschia runners and lots of candles with a flower arrangement in the center. But I want to see some pics. Can you guys point me to any blogs with Valentine's Day stuff? I've been looking at sites all day but none of them are like the blogs that I see posted on here.
Also, if you have any ideas, I'm all ears!
Thanks!
Re: Valentine banquet ideas needed please..
You may also think about searching for wedding table inspirations in the color scheme you're looking for. Something like this:
I searched "hot pink wedding centerpieces" on Google Images to find that. You could do the same with "red" or "light pink."
Hostess with the Mostess is my go-to blog for inspiration ideas. Here's a Valentine's Day one that you may be able to gleam ideas from:

I love the look nested vases, with the smaller/inner vase holding a bouquet of flowers and the space between the vases holding valentine's day candy. This is always my go to decoration for the holiday:
