Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

FIL...
FIL lives in FL 1/2 the year. He's seen Adrian 3x. He came home for a doctor's visit and came to install a camera and skype so he can 'talk' to Adrian. Very nice..we thought it was a thoughtful gift.
I was working at the time and DH was here when he came. DH said he spent 2 hours getting frustrated at the computer. DH even got Adrian laughing and squealing, and he didn't bat an eye. When DH gave him Adrian to hold, Adrian got fussy. He immediately put Adrian down in the chair to settle down...and warned DH about holding and catering to the needs too much b/c we shouldn't spoil him.
This is where I love DH. He scooped Adrian right up and said that's not how we do things. And he settled Adrian. And when DH told me the story, he said that he would never feel comfortable letting his dad watch the baby. And he though it was very disappointing that he spent the whole time ignoring Adrian in person so he could get the technology set up to 'talk' to Adrian from a distance. DH is one awesome daddy!
