today's topic: snowmaggedon.
In an effort to get the board moving, perhaps we should make an effort to post a question or discussion topic once a day. At least, I think it would remind me to check this board more often.
So... the snow. Love it? Hate it? Still had to work? Got to stay home?
...
I think what I like best about the snow is watching my dogs run around. They love it. I'm a full-time student and was lucky that my classes were canceled, but I still had to drive in for a meeting. Other than that, I've been in my comfy clothes all day and I loved it. I've had a rough week.
Your turn.
Re: today's topic: snowmaggedon.
I usually like a little bit of snow, but we got dumped on today/last night.
I would like it more if our city actually plowed our street, but they don't, and if we need to scoot to the hospital, I'm a tad worried about the state of our roads.
I like snow, but get tired of it really quickly!
I am a teacher on maternity leave, so I'm going to have to make up all the snow days later on when I would rather be home with my little man
I usually love the snow. I would have loved it more if my classes were cancelled too, but I think KSU is the only place in Eastern KS that didn't close.
We also had to move today and yesterday to a different apartment up the street. Our apartment complex is really bad about scoping snow and stuff too, but it wasn't that bad.
I hear it is supposed to snow some more next week! Ahh!
I don't mind it, mostly because the worst part for me is digging my car out in the morning. (I park on the roof of our complex's parking garage.) Even though the streets downtown are only semi-plowed, I don't have far to drive. My office did a late start on Thursday, but I made it in with plenty of time.
DH, on the other hand, cannot drive in the snow. His little sports car does not hold up well, and he usually takes the bus to work if it snows rather than getting behind the wheel himself.
Ouch... crappy moving weather, for sure. Did you move apartments within the same complex?
Agreed that it's great to watch the dogs play in the snow. This is the first time my two Aussies have seen it. They're having a great time. And it's pretty and it's a good excuse to stay in bed with hubby all day
But other than that, I could really do without!
187 Made the list!
Yes, thank goodness. We moved about two blocks up, it could have been much worse. Our complex also provided help, that was a major blessing. We could not have done it on our own!
