Snow Day!

Working from home today, which is great.  It's cold & snowy and the best part is that it's suppose to stop around noon time.

Bella, I think we're getting the same weather - how much snow do you have now? We have about 3 inches so far and it's really coming down heavy.  My H has appointments in CT today but he isn't going to be leaving the house until around 11/12ish.

Everyone up north is getting snow days... not fair !! lol.  Yesterday it was a high of 80 and sunny as heck and today... just in time for the weekend... is a high of 67 and lows in the 30s and rainy as heck... booo !

Last I looked outside, there was next to nothing (maybe 2") I was hoping for a compete snow dump last night. My restaurant actually closes if the snow is deep/bad enough. I didn't want to leave J or my kitties sleeping!

Blonde, did you end up heading the beach last time you had warmer weather? I wouldn't mind hitting the beach.

City, I know the feeling.  I left the house at 540 for the gym and got back around 720.. Now I'm back in comfy clothes.  I'd rather be on my couch cuddled but instead I'm at the computer with a never ending cup of coffee.

I was suppose to go on Monday but I woke up and it was POURING out and rained all day... i was super annoyed... should have gone sunday but I was too hung over lol

Dh is working from home today too (again). We got our 6" yesterday but it iced over night so he decided to work from home today too. It is a high of 17 today so no sign of it melting soon.

We got about 6" overnight, but the roads aren't bad at all.  Just kinda slushy.  The worst part about coming to work was getting out of the driveway (I didn't have time to shovel the bank of snow that was at the bottom of our driveway from the plow).

They're saying it will stop anytime now and we'll actually see some sun this afternoon.  Yay!

Just a very, very, very light dusting here. Nothing like they were calling for that's for sure and I'm happy b/c I'm tired of snow!

We got snow Wednesday, but it was only about 4 inches.  The commute was terrible though.  The roads were crazy icy and it took me 4 hours to get home.  2 of those hours were just to get out of the town I work in.  There was a bad accident in front of the entrance to the major highway out of town right before everyone decided to leave for the day so it was a total clusterfuck.  Thankfully it will be sunny and 50 here today.

Yeah, same here.  I'm really glad - I have a lot of stuff to do today and two meetings this afternoon that would have been a PITA to reschedule.

We got 3-4 inches last night and could get 6-12 more today plus more overnight. I'm sooooo over snow!  And this city never shuts down, I'm so jealous of people getting snow days!!

The snow completely skipped us. I was hoping for at least a 2-hour delay. I don't like Maryland, but I love the way snow freaks everyone out here. More days off for me!
