When I got married, I moved into my husband's apartment since I was living at home. It is a two bedroom. The community that we live in is huge....at least 40-50 buildings. The ammenities are great.....full gym, two swimming pools, bbq pits, pond with fishing and fountain, basketball, tennis, beach volleyball...we have a guarded gate so I feel a little safer. Negatives are the lack of parking even with some big parking lots, tiny tiny kitchen, poor snow removal, 3rd floor, a bit pricey. So here it is:
My living room, which for an apartment is huge. This is a few facing the door of our couch with my new pillows and the coffee/end tables that the in-laws got us for the wedding. The wall behind the couch is our sports wall with red sox, celtics, and patriots championship photos.

A view from the couch to the other side of the living room. We got the tv stand from my mom for the wedding. The wall behind it is out homage to Chicago since that is where DH is from and we took a road trip last summer. Other than the long photo in the middle, we took the others.

Next stop- Dining area that is attached to living room. It is actually larger than most we have seen in the apartments around. The wall in the back is our accent wall...it is a creamy darker beige color. The paintings on it are three paintings that my DH's deceased grandfather painted the year he died. They are mountain scenes and we wanted to prominantly display them. The table is an old hand-me-down with dog chewed legs (yuck). I hate it but we want to wait until we get a house to get a new one. The table runner is new

Guest room/Office---Sorry for the decor. I had control over the apartment but I gave my DH one room where he could do whatever he wanted to the walls that way I could shut the doors....he is big into Star Wars and Star Trek (urgh).

Our Master Bedroom---he finally hung all the photos. They are all pictures that we took in Aruba on our honeymoon. I love them. We received the bed and mattresses from our in laws as part of our wedding gift. The blue bureaus are from my DH's younger days. We are waiting until a house to replace them. Also, I love love love my walk-in closet.

Yes the pillows are new....got them yesterday before the storm moved in. The cabinets in the kitchen are older. We opted for the un-reonvated kitchen because the renovated apts are nicer but they are also about 200 more a month. The kitchen works for the two of us right now. The bedding was a shower gift and all of the linens and accessories in the bathroom were also shower gifts. Before it looked like such a bachelor pad and I am working really hard at getting rid of all of that stuff.
I love the colors in the bathroom! Very pretty.
I also really like your headboard and your bedding. Very nice! :-)
Missing our little turkey.

Thanks. The purse was a gift from my MIL for christmas. Got the matching wallet and cosmetic bag too. I got the table and two end tables (which are actually chairside tables as they call it because they aren't as wide as the end tables which were double the width. We got them at Jordan's Furniture

That is how it is at our house, I have the walk in and Ken has a tiny closet.
Lol, lucky ladies!! We have a 2 bed w/o walkins, but I use the guest bed closet since I wake up before DH on weekdays

THIS!
I also love your bedspread, and your awesome organized closet.
I think you have done an amazing job decorating the apartment. When DH and I were still in our apt, he was so against me hanging anything on the walls. The paint was cheap and even the command strips pulled some of the paint off.
Your messy closet is nothing compared to mine. The previous owners has sh!tty built in organization and unfortunately that is pretty low on our home improvement list, which is kind of driving me crazy! I am a clutterbug but I need to have organized chaos to function, so I'm starting to go a bit nuts.
Luckily holes from hanging things are considered normal wear and tear on the lease. Also, my DH would cover every inch of wall if I let him. I like the walls neat and organized
