Last night it hit 54 BELOW up here    And now, it's still 35 below and SNOWING.  I honestly did not know it could snow when it was this cold!  I thought it had to be warmer because of the moisture in the air.  Guess I was wrong!!

The key pad on my garage for the door didn't work this morning. And I honestly thought about working from home, but then decided to try the side door and see if it would open from the inside. It did, so here I am at work, on the Nest message boards.

The only downside to this weather is the fact that my dogs refuse to wear booties to protect their paws, but then go outside and gecko paw their way through potty time, and then fight like its not -24 degrees...thus making me stand outside longer.  Oh the joys of having winter loving dogs...

lol..Miley does the same thing!  And with a mountain we have shoveled in our yard, she wanted to play King of the Hill today!  She was having a blast!  I wasn't

I soooo wish not leaving my house was an option today. I hate this cold weather. Ugh.

Oh well. What can a person do? Moving is the only way around this crap, and that is not happening any time soon, so... I'll just B!tch my way through it. LOL.

All the pumps at the small gas station by my house would only pump a gallon before flashing an error message this morning.  The owner assumed it was due to the cold.  Pretty frustrating when the gas light is on in the car.  I only put 2 gallons in before going to another gas station closer to the office.

We finally turned out heat on for the first time yesterday.  We live in an apartment complex, and our downstairs neighbor must have his heat on 80 at least.  

We also have a winter loving dog (Husky/Golden mix), who is loving this cold.  He basically refuses to come inside. Whenever I try to pull him in, he burries himself in the snow banks.  Can't wait until we have a fenced in yard!
