Thinking about making chili...?

So we have this chili mix stuff that DH likes that has the beans and spices in it.  Technically, you just need to add water, but I usually add meat and sometimes rice to it.

I don't have hamburger meat - do you think ground italian sausage or ground jimmy dean sausage would be ok/good in chili or should I just scrap the idea?

Re: Thinking about making chili...?

  • I think Italian sausage would work. It'd be a little different flavor profile, but still good. I just made chili with cubed chicken and linguica and it was very tasty!
