I read this story yesterday and it haunted me all day.

I would think they baby would have cried at the first bite and that would wake up the mom.

what is this ferret odor that you're all talking about, anyway? is it like cedar chips? I like that smell.

I haven't sniffed a bunch of ferrets, though.

I watched some plastic surgery show about a girl who needed an operation because when she was a baby the family's pet ferret ate her face.  It was pretty horrifying. And sad, because she needed to quit smoking in order to qualify for the surgery, and she couldn't.  The show ended with her not being able to quit, and not being able to get her face fixed.

ferrets are nasty things.

definitely not, I will try to find something more upbeat next time.

This just really got to me.   I just can't imagine how she didn't wake up.

I think that works only in certain browsers.  I use firefox, so I have to type in the url code.
