Western KY Ladies/Snow in Louisville

I hate that on the KY Knot/Nest/Bump boards, people are alwasy from Louisville, Lexington, or Cincy area.  Is there anyone from WKY or even south central KY?

Also, can anyone tell me how the roads are up in Louisville?  H and I are headed to a concert there tomorrow and just want to have a heads up of what we're dealing with.  Thanks!

I'm south of Louisville and we got about 4 inches of snow. The main roads should be decent. Who are you going to go see?

My favorite group in the whole world, Punch Brothers, are at the Kentucky Center tonight.  We're staying at the Galt House and are going to be hitting up some Fourth Street Live afterwards.  I'm pumped.

Just wanted to say hello and I'm from western KY!  I'm from Owensboro but just recently moved to the Lexington area for my husband's job when we got married this past summer. 

Where are you from and where do you live now? 

I hate that this board is always sooo sloowww.  I see people on The Nest and The Bump (I lurk) all the time from KY but no one ever posts here.  Since I'm new to the area, it would be helpful to get advice on jobs, things to do, etc.

I'm living in Louisville now, but not by choice!  DH finished his degree and UofL and wasn't able to find a job outside of the Louisville area once he graduated.  We're both from the KY Lake area and plan to move back there once he can find a job in the area, but right now those are few and far between!
