Do you get annoyed when people assume you took your husband's last name?
We recently got more life insurance, and our financial broker was shocked when I said "No I'm not Dana W...I'm Dana B"
Also, get more life insurance now while pg instead of after if you need to. It was a PITA filling out all the questions and then having to go over them over and over again for a week.

Re: Pooks!
I do, but really it doesn't happen that much anymore. Mostly dh gets referred to as Mr 'my last name' hee hee. When he did my injection for the first time at the Dr's office the nurse said 'great job, go team [insert my last name]. Dh laughed it off later and didn't seem to mind.
Oh thanks for the tip we were just talking about that yesterday.
Does it really happend to you that much? How does your dh react to it?

It happens more often than I think it should, especially with my family. People at work think its weird that I didn't take Andrew's last name, and I just say he should be happy I hyphenated it.
Andrew is great with it all. He's fine that I didn't legally take his name because he didn't see it as a major issue. He understands that my last name is part of me, his only request was that Xander have his last name and not be hyphenated. He also has been called Mr. B a few times.
