Swiffer Vac

Anyone try it? Does it work well?

Re: Swiffer Vac

  • I've had one for maybe 3 years and it's still running well. I don't use swiffer sheets with it because I hate to spend the money and throw it away, so I use microfiber cloths that I run through the wash. I also wash the filter rather than tossing it and replacing like they would like. The battery still runs well and it's strong enough to pick up cat food, crumbs, and pet hair.

  • Williams-Sonoma has a "Swiffer-like" option that has washable cloths, as Blue mentioned above.  Just moved into a home with hardwood floors and have been debating between the conventional dust mop and the Swiffer.  Going to try the WS option to avoid contributing to the landfill.
  • LOVE IT!!! i don't know why i didn't have one before. best thing for hardwood floors
